DESIGNING
The concept was to transform a basic ceiling fan into a high-impact visual story. We wanted to move away from the dull, everyday feel and give it a bold, desi-street meets music-video aesthetic. The aim was to make the product look aspirational, quirky, and full of energy, using color, rhythm, and mood to drive the visuals.

DEVELOPMENT
We created a makeshift set in a corner of our office using a textured wall and bold backdrops. Lighting played a key role—we used colored gels and budget lights to cast vibrant shadows and reflections. The camera work was deliberately dynamic—handheld pans, slider shots, and fast transitions helped inject life into a static object. In post-production, we synced cuts to beat drops, applied bold color grading, and layered zooms and overlays to elevate the production value.

PROBLEMS

The main challenge was the product itself—it’s static, has no moving parts, and doesn’t visually excite on its own. We had no access to a showroom or large space, and lighting resources were limited. We needed to find a way to give motion, depth, and character to something inherently plain.

Solutions
We leaned into creative problem-solving with a “jugaadu” approach. We used what we had—tight space, budget lights, and a lot of creativity. By experimenting with light angles, camera movement, and sound design, we built energy into the video. Our setup was basic, but clever lighting and post-editing transformed the fan into a high-impact visual, proving that storytelling and intent matter more than gear.
